Sound Design
Deconstructing 1812
Originally taken apart and rebuilt to jockey events for the stage, a dance narrative evolved into WILDLIFE – a book project.
During a MacDowell Residency Fellowship for Interdisciplinary research, those original drafts were developed to score sections of text and text written for sections of sound, setting a dynamic structure for building the narrative into a book.
Eventually, language pushed passed these drafts. I’m including them as they were an integral part of engineering that writing.
Have a listen.
